D4PCIU4SEQ – This board does not have fax features. Even if it had fax features, the Windows Fax Service will not detect it because it does not run in modem mode.
Diva board – Assuming this is Diva analog or Diva digital with modem license. Windows Fax Service will detect and use it only after it is linked to a Diva modem service. To link it to a modem service:
- Launch the Diva Configuration Manager.
- Right on the ‘Services’ line, and select ‘Insert Modem Pool’. An ‘Analog’ icon is created.
- Right-click on the Analog icon, and click Select for Binding.
- Right-click the green Analog icon on the ‘Boards’ line, and click Complete Binding.
- Go to File menu, and click ‘Activate’.
