I have found the answer, after much thinking and screaming. The motherboard that the Dialogic is plugged into has no on board video. So I put in one of the PCI slots a video card. This was the source of the conflict, for once I removed the video card and put one in the AGP slot, set at low resolution (800x600), everything worked. The Dialogic services start without a problem. Had to go to my pre-2005 days tofigure that one out. Thanks for your help.
