Hi,

Basically this line in question:

means the host CPU is not able to keep up with HMP’s I/O function requirement running at its expected 2ms tick interval (So it boils down to the Host CPU not being able to service driver requests in timely manner). This goes beyond HMP in this case, as it depends on system level horsepower and configuration settings in the OS itself. I suspect in this case some other piece of software might be messing with system level clocking in this case.

I guess you can check the system level clock settings which can be found at the following location:

/sys/devices/system/clocksource/clocksource0

Then look at available_clocksource file.
